Industrial Distribution Company in Southeast Houston is currently hiring an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their team! In this role, the Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for coordinating material purchases, logistics, order documentation, reports, and recordkeeping. The Supply Chain Specialist will maintain strong supplier relationships in order to optimize pricing and other terms. They will identify material requirements for the entire organization, and communicate the status of incoming goods.
Salary: $75K-$85K/yr.

The perfect Supply Chain Specialist for our client will have:
- 3+ years’ experience in supply chain
- Experience with exports and international shipments
- Strong understanding of purchasing processes
- Steel or industrial products experience required – pipe, valve, fittings experience preferred
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Excellent Excel skills – including pivot tables, V-lookups, data analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chan or Business preferred
