Job Title:  Sales Support Administrative Assistant

Location:  Southwest Houston area

Pay: $22 per hour

Hours:  M-F

Duration:  Temp-to-hire

Description of Duties:   Sales Support Administrative Assistant position is now available in the Southwest Houston area!  In order to successfully apply for this role, you should be comfortable with the following job duties:  Answer and route incoming sales calls to appropriate sales personnel. Pre-screen and follow-up with leads. Handle logistics orders for internal and external events including travel, trade shows and customer demonstrations. Provide pre-sales and post-sales assistance with tasks such as sales paper work, sales and sales quotes. Prepare invoices, preparation of pertinent reports, as well as other projects as assigned. Update managers by consolidating and forwarding daily action summaries. Provide sales vs. projection results by preparing and forwarding sales tracking reports. Track sales expenses by tracking, consolidating, and summarizing expenses; forwarding for reimbursement. Update database records in company CRM program. Support proposal preparation (gather data, print, bind, etc.). Correspond with customers who have inquiries regarding company’s products or purchases. Record customer correspondence information and deliver to appropriate sales personnel. Process orders for inner-office activities, product demonstrations, salesman equipment, and office equipment.

Requirements:  The ideal candidate has Associates or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in an administrative or sales position. He or she must have a pleasant and courteous personality, be extremely detail oriented, possess strong administrative and organizational skills, strong phone and computer skills, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detailed knowledge and experience in MS office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to become proficient in multiple IT applications.
