We’re hiring a Product Procurement and Inventory Specialist for our Southeast Houston client!  We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately! 

 

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

 

  • Job Title: Product Procurement and Inventory Specialist
  • Location: Southeast Houston
  • Pay: $21-24/hour
  • Hours: M-F, 7-4
  • Duration: Temp-to-hire
  • Description of Duties:  Raw materials ordering: base oils, additives and packaging products. Working closely with vendors to ensure timely and accurate supply of product, making sure the proper paperwork accompanies the product. Planning the logistics of inbound loads. Tracking and updating all bulk inventory daily. Working in Ascend software:  purchasing and receiving product, closing BOM’s and creating BOL’s. Uploading POs to the company hard drive. End of month summaries for certain suppliers. Assisting with reconciling EOM inventory. Ordering most of the facility supplies/verifying invoices.
  • Requirements:  2-year college degree or equivalent. Basic knowledge of the oil blending process from start to finish. Proficient in MS Office. Ability to work across varying procurement platforms. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
