We’re hiring a Facilities Technician for our Southwest Central Houston area client!
We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working employee to join our client’s team!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Facilities Technician
Location: Southwest Central Houston
Pay: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
Hours: 9:30am - 6pm, some weekends and on-call.
Description of Duties:Interior and exterior upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and grounds. Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building. Minor maintenance (i.e. changing light bulbs, leaky faucet repair, painting). Ensures heating and cooling systems are operational. Performs limited grounds maintenance. Removal of trash and process recycling containers. Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly. Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units. Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
Requirements:Prior experience as a full-time member of maintenance staff preferred. Ability to perform basic repairs and operate power and hand tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems and Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems. Excellent mechanical skills. Basic plumbing, electrical or mechanical skills.
