We’re hiring a Customer Service Representative for our growing client in the Southwest Houston area.

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

Job Title:  Customer Service Representative

Location:  Southwest Houston area.

Pay: $18 per hour

Hours:  M-TH 8am to 5pm

Duration:  Temp-to-hire

Description of Duties:   Customer Service Representative position is now available in the Southwest Houston area!  Assist with answering phones and redirecting calls to appropriate departments. Handle customer calls requesting ETA of items already on order. Handle customer requests for tracking and confirmation information. Handle customer inventory and pricing inquiries. Contact customers to notify of cancellation of backordered items. Run reports out of the company’s software program to review open order status. Order entry from customer’s purchase orders. Part allocation. Send order confirmations to customers. Releasing orders that have been placed on hold. Issue return authorizations to customers for damages or shipping errors. Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries. Develop and maintain customer relationships.

Requirements:  1+ year’s of experience working in a customer service role. Good working knowledge of MS Office suite of programs.  Basic typing skills.  Good telephone and communication skills as demonstrated in interviews.
