We’re hiring a Sourcing Buyer for our Downtown Houston area client! We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!  

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

1. Job Title: Sourcing Buyer
2. Location: Downtown Houston
3. Pay: $30-$35/hr.
4. Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm M-F
5. Duration: temp-to-hire
6. Description of Duties: Responsible for sourcing services and / or materials to fulfill the procurement needs of the company; Prepare and submit accurate bid packages; Proficiently negotiates relines, commercial terms, and other agreements; Provide analytical support to compare spend activity against contracts, identify contract leakage and report other metrics; Support supplier risk mitigation efforts of the procurement team with ISNetworld compliance
7. Requirements: 4+ years’ relevant work experience; Bachelor's degree in financial, supply chain, or engineering curriculum; Strong communication, and problem-solving skills; Strong contract and negotiating experience; Proficient MS Office skills required; Experience in petrochemicals, oil /gas, and / or manufacturing preferred; CPSM or CPIM certification preferred; Familiarity or certification in Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma or Lean processes
