We’re hiring a Purchasing Assistant for our growing client in the Southwest Houston area.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, hard-working employee to join our client’s team!

 

DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:

Job Title:  Purchasing Assistant

Location:  Southwest Houston area

Pay: $18-20 per hour

Hours:  M-F, 8-5

Duration:  Temp-to-hire

Description of Duties:   Purchasing Assistant position is now available in the Southeast Houston area!  In order to successfully apply for this role, you should be comfortable with the following job duties:  Ordering raw materials, communicating with Warehouse Manager/Floor Manager about what needs to be ordered, judging lead times from vendors and being proactive with ordering materials, checking order statuses, developing relationships with vendors and when there is down time, assisting with shipping/receiving.

Requirements:  Previous experience working in a purchasing role.  Experience with shipping/receiving is a plus.  Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel.  Experience with E2 and Quickbooks is a plus.
