Northwest Houston Company has an immediate opportunity available for a Customer Service Representative (CSR)

What will make you a successful Customer Service Rep.:

  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures and customers’ profitability profiles
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
  • Obtain accurate information from vendors relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Requirements:

    • ?
    • High School Diploma or GED required, some college or degreed preferred

    • Customer Service experience required
    • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience preferred
    • SAP, NetSuite, or other ERP system experience preferred
    • Required Skills/Knowledge:
    • Strong attention to detail; commitment to accuracy
    • Exceptional verbal communication; articulation and enunciation
    • Ability to work under pressure and while handling various tasks at once
    • Effective in a team environment
    • Capable of sitting for several hours at a time
    • This is a temp to hire position Pay is $15.00-17.00 hourly.
