Well-established metals manufacturer (precision laser cutting, fabrication and CNC machining) seeking a seasoned, experienced manufacturing sales professional to sell industrial services.

Ideal candidate will possess strong values; have a passion for success, exhibit an innovative approach to customers' problems, and the ability to think beyond conventional solutions in behalf of those customers. What YOU will be responsible for -

  • Generate Sales: Sell our company’s metals manufacturing processes and unique capabilities following the guidelines while meeting or exceeding profitability targets and minimums.
  • Expand Customer Base: Selectively grow and broaden the depth of the company’s customer base.
  • Update Sales Plan and Procedures: Establish written criteria for new leads and analysis of market potential of new territory customers. Contact potential customers for the generation of qualified leads.
  • Keep Customers Informed: Develop customer relationships and ongoing awareness of our company’s current and increasing capabilities (using inside personnel, marketing media, mailers, promotions)
  • Update Customer DatabaseContinuously: Vigilant maintenance and upkeep of sales database (addition of new customers, buyers, customer data, estimates of market, market share, targeted marketing campaign lists, categorization of customer leads and diligent adherence to follow-up dates and deadlines.)
  • What YOU must possess to qualify for this position -

    • Demonstrated 5-7 years of business-to-business sales experience in Job Shop, Machining and Fabrication Sales with metals manufacturing (Job Shop experience is required)
    • 25% travel within the US
    • Ability to develop customer relationships, and confidence in speaking with business owners and purchasing personnel
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, technical product environment
    • Ability to meet and exceed sales forecasts on a regular basis
